author
The AUTHOR identifies a person who wrote (at least part of) the document.
copyright
The COPYRIGHT identifies the name (or names) of the copyright holder(s) for this document, and/or a complete statement of copyright.
description
The DESCRIPTION identifies a description of the document. Can also be an excerpt.
keywords
The KEYWORDS identifies keywords of the document.
generator
The GENERATOR identifies the software the current document was created in.
robots
The ROBOTS identifies the right or wrong of addition to an index of the document and analysis.
verify-v1
The VERIFY-V1 identifies the code that Google Sitemaps confirms proprietary rights of the document.

Link types

made
Use with rev="made", the target is an e-mail address of the author of the document.

Refers to the logical top of a hierarchical tree of which the current document is a branch.
up
Refers to the upper or container document.
first
Refers to the last document in a linear sequence of documents.
last
Refers to the last documents in a linear sequence of documents.
meta
Refers to a document which contains meta-information related to the current document.

Refers to a Bulletin Board System.
nofollow
Refers to a document whose contents do not necessarily follow in any way from the topic or themes of the current document. This type of relationship is typically expressed within a document that includes hypertext content whose origin is unknown or untrusted. (based on suggestion by Dan Brickley.)
Search engins may use this relation so as not to give any credit in their search results, as per 'Preventing comment spam' in google blog.
